Freeport Players is a volunteer-based organization, and since its humble beginnings has brought enjoyment to thousands of people throughout our community and with all levels of experience in theater. Our volunteers learn and practice theater skills in a fun, cooperative atmosphere and leave each production with the satisfaction of producing quality entertainment.

Here are just a few of the many opportunities for volunteers to help Freeport Players thrive:

• Performing onstage as an actor or musician
• Keeping performances running as part of our backstage crew
• Serving on committees
• Designing or constructing sets, lighting, costumes, and props
• Distributing posters and soliciting program ads
• Ushering at performances
